on a random Thursday...

Yesterday was japanese class, coffee with batchmates, dinner with audrey, drinks with random crew whom all seem to interlink with one another ( all of the sudden, the bar felt like a control centre to me. lol...), supper at macdonalds and mustafa for the last stop. By the time I reached home it was already 430am this morning. I almost died. Really. I tell you....Haha. Freaking tired.

Thank you friends and colleagues whom helped me buy stuffs from all over the world. Repayment time soon. Hehe...

No time to head down to the temple. Suddenly I feel there are so much things I wanna tell to the Guan Yin Ma. Hahaa... Tomorrow seem like a perfect day to go down for a prayer. Maybe I will just bring mummy along and bring her for a nice lunch. Been months since I brought her out.

Only things happened, then you realise how much certain people actually meant to you and their importance in your life. I feel the impact gradually, somehow.

Just finished my Japanese homework. I am going for class later. I love how this school manages to organise classes to fix my irregular schedule. *medetashi* :p

2 days of sydney was enough to kill but fellow colleagues were fantastic. Like you know you curse and swear about the tiredness and the work load coming along your way, but people back you up and make your day. =) And tomorrow called up to do jarkata in the evening, that's good enough. And there "she goes" (I go). Haha. My one week break away from work.

I don't know where to start. Work has been smooth, human relationships aren't too bad either. But I am just getting fatter. *loud laughter* I love to eat and am lazy to exercise at times (okay most of the times...ha.), what else can I do?

I keep feeling hungry. The constant hunger at any hour. And my mouth just can't stop. This is bad, especially when I have a weakness for carbohydrates and desserts. :p God, please bless me with a high metabolism rate. I think I seriously need that now. Ha.

bad dream

I just had a bad dream. I dreamt that everyone is going against me. Nobody believes and stands on my side. I felt so lonely. The dream is horrible enough to start my day.

I watched Russell Peters on youtube, had a random laugh, the lunch that mummy bought was just so not tasty. Called up for denpasar turn tomorrow. I was still hoping they would call me for some medium haul flight to disrupt my sydney. Ok...whatever.

Zurich was cool, with great company, but own self with complicated random thoughts. As usual.

Batchboy knocked at the wrong room when he checked in the night. My crew almost freaked out when she saw a man keep knocking at her door at 12am midnight. Ha. *roll eyes...* That's why we are batchmates... Haha...

Ever felt...

Ever felt that no one in this world can be trusted except your ownself?
Suddenly, it seems like everything is happening all together at one time.
Sometimes I feel frustrated, I feel irritated, I feel depressed, I feel upset, I feel lonely, I feel angry, at no one but myself.
And there is no shoulders to lean on, shoulders which I can feel safe without feeling weary.

Maybe I am a more careful person. I don't dare to let down my guard to anyone even if that person could be safe enough to make me feel protected. It isn't any easy. Perhaps it's just me. The problem is with me.

Been away for good whole eight days. Scalded my hand with coffee during work, bruised my arms and legs, took the most horrendous rides in los angeles, mesmerizing by the shopping and food in tokyo, and the rediscovery of my own inner feelings. Somehow, I think I know what I want now or ultimately. :)

First states trip that I never shopped. That is a very surprising thing for me. Ha. We went to Six Flags Magic Mountain. We had the most amazing rides ever. And I am like the only one screaming and cursing and calling for help in the mid-air always. The rest seems like super heroes and heroins. And I wonder why people wanna pay money to scare themselves and freak their minds and hearts out. I have a weak heart and I tell you, I almost died. Lol... Really. :p

I am one shade darker now. *hiaks hiaks* Can't wait to be back to tokyo for shopping and eating!

Am in Los Angeles. Work was tiring, as usual. Hah... After shower earlier on, I dozed off on my lappy and everyone was already waiting for me downstairs for dinner. *hiaks* I freaked out when the phone rang, and I jumped out of my bed, all ready in less than 5 minutes to the lobby. I am sorry guys! =p

We have already rented a car for next day. I am so looking forward. :p I told Mark I want to test drive the car tomorrow, as I never tried left-hand drive car before. Mark said, "ok lor, i let you drive one round in the carpark before i take over and drive out to the main road. you drive one meh? you doesn't look like you can drive. hahaa..." ............. He was punched a hundred time by me, almost. Lol..

There are many thoughts running in my mind. Whenever I am driving, walking, or alone, they run even faster! I wish I can pen or write them down somewhere, but they are too jumbled up and maybe some don't even make sense.

Been very tired out from work, with minimal rest. Off to tokyo in a few hours time. My bags are 1/2 packed, my nails just painted and some other loose strings yet to tie up.

Finished the 2nd day of PMTR today. Met new friends, old friends, batchmates in between. :p Lunch, little catching up, those little fun in class. Then it was dinner session with the poly mates. Some fatter, prettier, slimmer, the same old usual jokes and laughters never change. Mr Louis commented, "Yolene you hardly spoke Mandarin to me during poly days. English English English! Why are you so chee-na now? I am so not used to it lor." Ahh...Mr Louis, I do speak Mandarin besides English okay. *boxed!=p* I miss you, I miss the good old days and I miss the rest too.

Then it was supper with batchmates. 4 persons, 4 cars. Stopping our cars one side at the open air carpark, discussing about cars. Trying to act pro about cars and mechanics. Lol...

Attended first day of PMTR today. Some promote tourism course organised by company at Singapore Shopping Centre. It was pretty interesting though. I kind of like the trainer. She is very knowledge, and only today then I realised I am that ignorant about my own country. :p

Been feeling quite emo these few days. Many times I am full of laughters but behind that smile, I feel very much lonely. On the phone, in person, in japanese class, during work, overseas, with people. I am just being quite cynical. Was listening to 曹格's new song "寂寞先生". 还觉得蛮有感觉的.

Some errands on hand had been settled. To the temple, the deedpoll. Then it was beer, chicken wings and pizza at No.5 Emerald Hill. Bak ku teh at haverlock road and random roaming around. I thought I couldn't make it home but the entertaining phonecall that came in lighten the whole spirit again. I managed to drive home safely, eventually. *cheeky wink* =p

Heard so much rumours and things about certain people. It can be disturbing, at times. You know, it like some people, some images, you know they gonna haunt you forever. Even if that is so, I somehow sense the good things are coming my way! =)

The nails treat was good and I super love them now. Clean, neat, demure and pretty! Haha... Then it was Japanese class, this time round with Cecillia. Lesson was fun, as usual and I can't wait for the next class. :) One thing I like about the school is I am able to go for makeup class whenever I can't make it for the lesson. The flexibilty totally suits my job nature. This is love. Ha. :p

Then it was dinner and ktv with friends, colleagues and some random crew whom I didn't know. The best part was this was the first time I went to ktv and I never sang, My throat kind of gave way and my nose kept running.

the hairdo.

Do you know what is the thing I dreaded the most when I am preparing for work? The hairdo. Makeup is never a problem to me. It's like a natural instinct to me. But the hair, can be my utmost enemy. I was struggling for an hour with the hair just a minute ago. When the bun couldn't go up, I tried the twist. When the twist just couldn't look perfect, I would try the bun again, And when both just couldn't work, I wish I have short hair. And the cycle just went on and on.

And oh the phone just rang. I am almost there. Phew.

The twist is the winner today.

the MRT day...

Dragged myself out of the bed at 7 in the morning, trying to keep my eyes open while brushing my teeth, put on a random dress, with minimal makeup, I left the house and headed towards the MRT station. It wasn't motivating at all, the thought of walking all the way to the station, digging out my ez-link card that was stowed in some desserted place in my room, and squeezing myself with the crowd in the train just added a big sigh to my morning. If not only for the expensive carpark fees and erp, I would have drove. More than happy to drive.

Anyway, I was at Peninsular Plaza today for some Korean self-directed courase. It was useful but I think at the end of the day, I still suck at it. Haha...

Haven't been feeling exactly very well. I thought I was feeling feverish. This word can be very sensitive now, especially with the up and rising H1N1 cases. I hope I will be strong. Heading to Abu Dhabi tomorrow, with batchgirl. Let's just pray the weather doesn't kill me.... =p

I open my fridge and it stinks! The smell of durians floods the entire fridge. Not that I don't eat durians. Not that I hate them. I am just not a fan of durians. And the smell of them gonna stay for the next few days even after they are being finished up. Thank you "Uncle Peh". =p

It's a small scale wedding event. But it was lovely. Very beautiful. :)

Hera was pretty and slim, (every bride seems to lose weight before the wedding..haha..), Patrick is jovial and lively, (he was the one who entertained the crowds of families, friends and colleagues...)

Bumped into many friends and colleagues here and there at the wedding. And I dream the day I am walking down the aisle....*laugh*

Going to missy hera's wedding later. Crown Plaza Hotel at Terminal 3. *roll eyes* Ha. I heard the ballroom is nice though. =p Bound to see many crew and familiar faces there. Moreover, her other half is also a crew.

Sometimes I feel my bedroom is more like a hotel to me. 3/4 of the time I am always away. Okay.. I am just being random here, while removing my red nails. Hehe... Freaking thinking of what to wear later. Maybe I will head down to the salon for a good hair fix.

Kind of looking forward to Monday which is tomorrow. No special occasion. Just have some errands to run, beauty to be fixed, needs and wants to be bought. Haha...

superwoman

Just came back from Teochew Porridge supper with Alexis. Had a great time recalling some eventful flights, sharing about our lives lately. It's kind of amazing how the ex-girlfriends still stay in touch when the ex-boyfriends are already history in both of our lives.

And I just came back to Singapore a few hours ago from Auckland. It was mind exhausting and physically tiring. Especially when there are only one GS and he can't work JCL, and I was the J2 on a 300ER plane on the way up to Auckland though I wasn't the most senior. But, we all had our fair share of work la huh? It always feels nevertheless good to be back, home. :)

I am off to London again tomorrow's night. Everybody says I am superwoman. Haha... Oh well... I hope London is doing good now. Batchgirl just smsed me said she got isolated in London because she showed signs of H1N1. Let's hope she will be okay and all of us will be okay.

Sometimes, I really want to be alone.

Evie shared with me last night. She said alone and loneliness are different. There are times when we want to be alone, all by ourselves, to think, to do things and not being disturbed. But loneliness is scary, VERY scary.

I share the same sentiment with her.

You can be surrounded by friends and loved ones, but you still feel very alone.

This kind of emptiness just takes me away.

Back from Melbby. Met up with a friend for lunch and coffee and groceries shopping. Tummy lied flat on bed, legs kicking behind me, sinfully indulging in krispy cremes while reading my book in the comfort of my hotel room.

Met the new ward leader on flight. It was quite a sight. She wanted me to stand out, and stop being so comfortable blending in the crowd, if I ever want to get a promotion. In my mind, I was like...huh? Promotion. 3yrs plus with the company and I think it's still a long way to go. Toward the end, she added, "if you are good, you can actually get promoted within 4yrs plus of flying you know? so do something. be different. make yourself significant. "

I am like "hahahaha X 100."

Have decided not to take up the FQ-GQ thingy, for the moment. Still very much want to go to other places though. And I will try to be a JQ on my own, with classes outside. *grin* =)

My Tokyo trip is confirmed cancelled. All "thanks" to the H1N1. But I rather be safe than sorry. It's the quarantine part that is scary. And they are suggesting Bangkok. I am like "what?, anything lor...don't wanna waste the leave. at least we are heading somewhere. ha." Oh well. *roll eyes*

Oh and did I mention that I have this colleague on flight who was from Superband, Amber and he's a super duber nice guy? Plus everyone is nice too. Another steward around my time, and a few stewardesses whom I have flown together before. Okay, it's random now. It's me. =p

Going for breakfast with them in 2 hours time. And I gonna catch a bit of my show online now.

The Swine Flu is attacking Japan quite badly and I am beginning to feel skeptical about my Tokyo trip, though everything has been booked and confirmed.

And I am having a toothache out of no where. It's irritating. It's affecting my mood.

Was just talking to Alvin on phone and realised he's going to Beijing for 5days. Shiok right? Can go shop, eat, massage, visit the Great Wall and Forbidden City, and to all the sightseeing places, take photos and make me jealous! Hahaa... And just so happened to see his crew list, he is flying with someone. Uh-huh....Nonetheless, it's a great time to visit China now I guess. Good weather and all. =)

I was so drained and tired today, but it didn't stop me from going supper with MR. D. A good friend who always gives me advices, pushes me to do things, encourages me on things which maybe some others don't see and think likewise, let me pour my sorrows, listen to my happiness, say I look better in my act-cute hairstyle. He says my bangs are a form of acting cute. *roll eyes and giggles*

And I am so happy that he is getting married, with a super wonderful girl! =) And today after flight, checked my mailbox, received another red bomb invitation from another friend. It seems like the whole world is getting married, the crew are marrying each other, and everyone is getting couple-coded. Just when some people may think it's kind of sickening to keep seeing each other for more than 80% of the flights together, I thought it is sweet. =) Haha... Maybe it's just me. :)

Aren't they pretty? And they have it in PINK as well! My latest wishlist on my pending shopping agenda. Ha..

2days Taipei

Just came home from 2days Taipei and I have a Hanoi turn tomorrow's morning. And I am practically exhausted. I can count with my fingers the numbers of hours I slept ever since I came back from Tokyo Los Angeles. The going out, meeting and catching up with the loved ones...:)
Looking forward(very much!!) to the off days thereafter. =)


And in Taipei, I bumped into a lovely friend. Check out my blood shot eyes. *damn it* Haha...
I am contemplating about my FQ-GQ thingy, still. I have less than 2 weeks to decide.
On a random note, I WANT 5days MALE LEH!!! It has been quite awhile since we have a 5days MALE. I WANT TO GO TO THE BEACH!! =p

I am in Tokyo now. Work was horrendous. Supposed to be light load but Northwest Airlines plane got strike by lightning and they transferred their pax over. *hurhur* Nevertheless, the toughest was over. =) I am looking forward to everything in Tokyo. =)

Just came back from breakfast and supermarketing. Log in to WAVES and saw the opening of FQ and GQ. And I am thinking of applying. =) If only there is JQ. I won't hesitate a single second. =p But they won't need JQ when there are Japanese crew. Ok. Maybe I would apply, go for interview and see how. I just have to "eat grass" for 2 months, but then everything is paid for. Making use of the company resources is good. =)

Off to shopping later.

LAX

Just when I (or perhaps everyone) was so excited about the road trip, renting and driving a car together in LAX, the swine flu had to worsen, and people started to get paranoid. It's better to play safe though I ever, ever, ever didn't mind to take the little risk.

Bumped into some friends here and there, especially the person who made me a little crazy, a little excited that day on my sydney flight. Ha. It's gmt-7 in LAX, nice weather, bright and sunny, still. =)

today supposed...

Today supposed to be a great day and I supposed to be happy. Went to temple, had lunch with xiu, bought a new cargo bag and it's RED:), diamondlite earrings for work, found new routes which I can drive, and it all seemed like a perfect afternoon, peaceful, relax, simple, until that very split second....

I am beginning to hate my six sense now. It's getting stronger and stronger each time, and things really happen, without fail. 那一眼瞬间，我是快疯掉的。但我却还是厉害到，笑得很"我无所谓"。

最后还是忍不住在车上痛哭了十分钟，才把车给开走。
为什么会哭?
是心痛，是舍不得，还是一种解脱?

也只有他，才会让我那么怀疑自己。
也只有他，才会让我觉得自己真的不够好。
那么不完美的画面，让我有时也开始讨厌自己了。

很像每一次，都会来不及。

这才发现，我已错过那么多。

A perfect day in Sydney. =)

Back from Sydney this afternoon. 380 up, 744 back, and it was extremely tiring. Colleagues were nice though, passengers were never a problem to me. Haha. It always feels good to fly with people and friends whom you can click with.

It was lunch at malaysian joint, coffee at gloria jean's, groceries shopping at woolworth and dinner from macdonalds. A perfect day in Sydney. =)

Last night was late dinner cum ktv-ing with friends and some random colleagues. Realise many people around me are getting dettached, joining in the singlehood circle, or some in the complicated relationships.

And probably this time, I also keep hearing things about me and some random guys, me and some random colleagues, me and some girls' boyfriends. I often say crew relationships are complicated. But actually in a more precise theory, I should think human relationships are truly complicated.
